COLOR Every effort is made to insure color consistency by Orco Block, however, it must be understood that we are using materials from the earth and cannot control color variation in the cement and sand which may change the block color slightly from run to run. We guarantee the color only to range of color. We have a wide variety of colors from which to make your selection. There may be an additional charge for the color you select. Refer to the Price List for this information. Orco Block recommends using matching mortar when using colored precision block. Please call your architectural representative for additional information.

PRECISION BLOCK DIMENSIONS Orco Precision Block come in 4”, 6” and 8” heights. Common practice in describing masonry units is to give the width first, the height second and the length last, followed by the descriptive name. For example, an 8x8x16 Precision block is 8 inches wide, 8 inches high and 16 inches long. These sizes are in a modular dimension and actual sizes are 3/8” less. All pertinent dimensions and minimum shell thickness are shown. Rather than repeat dimensions for each unit, the first block in each unit is dimensioned. The dimensions apply to other units in the same group. Where there are variations in the units, applicable dimensions are shown for the individual unit.

FENCE UNITS The fence units shown here are for fences only. Note that the length is 18” long. This gives you more wall for your money. For example: a wall 100’ long and 6’ high would take 75 – 16”units for one course. 75x9 courses = 675 16” units. If using an 18” long block it takes 67 units for one course 100’ long. 67x9 courses = 603 18” units. The difference between 675 and 603 is 72 units. The savings is revealed not only in the block price but the installation labor cost. These blocks should not be used in a building. They will not work out to a module of 0” – 4 or 8” and your entire building will be off at the doors and windows.
